Birthday Wishes

Morning!

I made a fast and simple birthday card for the upcoming new president of our youth group T.N.F. Our youth group name is in Vietnamese and translated it means "Our Lady of Fatima Youth Group."  I used the cuttlebug embossing happy birthday folder and stampin up ticket punch to put this card together.  Hope it inspires you to do some...afterall you can never have enough of these!!!  Also, if you haven't noticed already we will be blogging only on Tuesdays and Thursdays going forward to be consistent and make special announcements as needed with additional blogs.

Pillows

Hi All!

I just have a quick share today.  My sister has helped me made a pillow case for a body sized pillow with the lavender flower print on the right.  There was enough fabric left to make cases for my toss pillows.  I love the fact that my pillow case is finally done and that she took the time to do it for me while she is on break from school.  I went to get a solid lavender fabric to complement the flower print and you can see that as well on the right.  She made them with zippers so that they are removable and that I can change it up as I like...yay!!!

Here is a close up of the flower print

Gracias Edward Card

Hi Everyone!

Here's a fast simple edward card I made per a request.  The colors I used are black, silver, and purple to represent LA Kings for this person's boyfriend.  I happen to need some verbiage and the roll call set happen to have the word thank you in spanish so I decided to put it to use and underlined it with clear gems.  The black paper, I used the cuttelbug to emboss the argyle pattern with a dot in the center.  My picture taking skills are not as clear here so sorry in advance!

!A BIG THANKS!

Hi Everyone!

Easter Anya

Morning!

Friday is finally here...and I have made an easter anya card to share.  I used stampin up designer paper and the recollections punch for this one.  I was inspired by my co-worker Leanne's card that used pearls randomly on a card.  I attempted that here by doing it on the flower centers randomly.  You should head on over to her blog sometimes and check it out from mine at "Finding My Groove..." which always has some good stuff brewing!  Happy Friday and the rest of the weekend! I will be at the Carson Convention if you want to look for us...=p

Happy St Patricks Day

Morning!

It's Thursday and it's also Saint Patrick's Day!!! I hope you have your green on before you get pinched...lol  Today is actually my sister Lanny's birthday and I made this card especially for her using rockstar anya!  I really liked how anya's hair turned out for this, the shading is much easier and she's just too cute with that expression.  In this card I used a martha stewart punch, the blossom spellbinder that is embossed, stampin up In the Stars set, and blinged out the stars with some clear pearls.  For anya...I masked her guitar, gave the white part a crystal clear effect and dashed the edge of her dress at the neck line and bottom that you can't tell much here.  The designer paper is from this birdie set I bought a while ago which was perfect for this card since she's rocking alright...LOL

I was asking my sister what her favorite color was...and she gave me like 5 different colors...so I told her I asked for a favorite color and she said a rainbow...make it happen! I was like OMG! you did not just tell me to make it happen! So as an inside joke for her birthday...I used the cricut to cut out a rainbow from the hello kitty cartridge and colored it in with a sentiment inside the card below.  So at the end of the day...I did make it happen so hopefully she likes it and should frame it only because it's from me...hehehe Don't you agree?  That's it for now...thanks for keeping up with us =)

P.S. If you are going to the Carson Convention show this weekend...we will be in the center of the convention hall so look for PIXIE BOUTIQUE!!! =D

My House

Hi There!

I used the MY HOUSE set from TGF to do this easel card for a family friend of mine that had a housewarming over the weekend.  I gave the windows a glossed effect that you can't tell on here.  This card was really fun and cute because I made it with my lil cousin of 5 who happen to be the hosts God Daughter.  She was so great with helping me put the card together and picked the flowers and put in the brads herself!  The lil note on the easel says "congratulations on your new home." Sorry for making you squint this time! Thanks for stopping by and remember to come visit us at the carson convention! Can't believe it's coming so quickly!

Angel Anya

Morning!

Hope everyone adjusted to the time change by now.  I have a frame that I made for my new niece that just had a baptism.  Angel Anya was just perfect for this occasion.  The new mom likes purple so I decided to incorporate that into the frame as well.  I used a chipboard sticker to write her name on it and onto the frame to finish it off.  Thanks for stopping by and continue to follow our blog =P

Altered Grad Ian into a Priest!!

Hi Everyone!!!
Here to share today is a card specially made for my uncle who has spent 11 years in his studies to finally be ordained a priest in the catholic world...I used digital Grad Ian and altered it into a priest.  It turned out so awesome that I couldn't help but give myself a pat in the back...lol  The card is a buckle card that opens up at the center as you can see below.  I used a spellbinder lent from a friend to make it like a book and wrote a verse from the bible.  I also had some stickers on hand to pop the card even more =P  Stay tuned as we have some really awesome and exciting inspiration coming at you!!!

-Enjoy!
These last two are from the Sweet N Toxic Critter Crew Set.
I thought I'd change it up a notch! I know a dear friend who is very fond of this set, and it was the thought of her that inspired me to create these mugs using the Sweet N Toxic set. Thanks Leanne!

Shadow Boxes....Continued

Hello Everyone! Kathy did such a great job on her calendar, that it inspired me to make two more shadowboxes. The shadow boxes are tons of fun to make.

My creativity really came out, as I used materials I have never really used before. The curtains are from a glittered material foam, which was a lot of fun to use.

This is the first Ian shadowbox I created. I used Quarterback Ian because I just love the football background. So much fun!

Thank you  for stopping by! Sorry, I know my pictures are a little dark, but you can get up close and personal with all my shadowboxes at the Carson Stamp N the Hand stamp convention! Hope to see you all there!

September

I chose Teacher Anya for September since school starts for the majority.  I added some school supplies to pop the month from my brother's girlfriend stamp set she lent me.  I believe it was hero arts and can be found at any Michael's arts and craft store. Thanks for stopping by!
