Last Christmas!

Morning!

These are the last of my cards from christmas. I can't help but use the tree and snowflakes in my cards a lot! They are both Martha Stewart products...hehe. I used scraps DP to turn into presents here for my first card.

Glitter is something that I have used on the snowflakes and Anya's here as well.

Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did making them!

Hi Peeps!

Just wanted to share this easel frame card I made a while back for my friend Annie's birthday! It's folding flat down here and you can insert a picture from the top. Sorry I don't have the rest of the picture as I switched phones and no longer have it.

I am also entering this into TGF's FFF challenge- Bling It On as my first for the year!

Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet comments! I really appreciate it!

Anything Goes Challenge with Yumi and Fumi

Hi Everyone!

It's Anything Goes challenge over at Yumi and Fumi! It's one of our popular challenges so make sure you come and join us! Be sure to check out the challenge rules here.  I wanted to share a Tag Card I itched to make after seeing some awesome ones from Leanne's blog.  I used Chuckles w/ Gecko here for my brother in law's graduation. It was pretty fun making this pull out tag card. I am sure Leanne will create a tutorial for it soon if you are interested =)

The card is a standard 5.5 x 4.25 inch card. Below is the tag pulled out. I used graduation stickers from Jollies. The year is a alphabet and stamp set from Close To My Heart. The sentiment is from Stampin Up - Happy Everything. I glued down the sides of the card and the folded down flap with mini glue dots

Below is the back of the card. I punched out the stars and handwritten in the sentiment. The banner is from ATS.

And...What's a graduation without the alcohol right?! I made my Brother in law a lei shot of a variety drinks and had enough to even make a bracelet...LOL

Card in a Box!

Hello Weekend!!

I been wanting to share this post for a long time but just never got the pictures together and sorry for my picture taking skills here in advance...lol I came across this before the holidays and knew I had to make one. The stamp set is Festive Flurry from Stampin Up! It has a coordinating die cut with it too which is what makes it so awesome! Below is my first take on the card in 3-D form. You can find a video tutorial here. Keep in mind that the tutorial is in the UK and their paper size is different from ours! I figured that out the hard way and created a small guide of my own for you if you want to give it a stab at the end=) The card is very versatile for other occasions not just Christmas. It was fun and I will definitely use it again so hope you have fun! Leanne also made some cool cards of this after we had a craft get together doing this with some buddies check it out!

Here is another angle view

Here is another card I did with the colors changed up.

Below is an angle view, the flap that stays standing up with the large snowflake is where you can write your personal message in the back of it.

Above is the card folded down flat showing inside

This is the card folded down flat from the outside

Winter Wonderland

Morning!

How is everyone on Hump Day?! Seems like everyone on the east coast is experiencing some bad winter storms...hope everyone is safe and that the weather warms up soon! It's been nice in Southern California so I can't complain. Anyhow, I made this card below for my husband below. I have always wanted to make a card scene of us snowboarding which we both enjoy very much. Hopefully we get some time in for the Winter fun sports this season! The tree in the background is stamped from a christmas set I got from Michael's Craft Store. The sentiment was cut out from a DP pack =)

Stamps Used:
Snowboard Luka
Snowboard Marci

Feliz Navidad

Good afternoon!

I swear, I am so behind on my Christmas posts as everyone is moving onto new years and v-day...LOL Anyhow here are cards I used Beanie Ian and Holiday Anya #3. Have a nice Thursday!

Cheers to 2014!

Morning All!!

How was your 2014 going so far? Hope it started out GREAT as there are lots to look forward to in a new year as we get a chance to start anew again =) I had a nice calm new year with crafting and a get together at my grandma's house. Anywho...have you guys got a chance to see Leanne's post for the Decemeber challenge reminder we have going on over at Yumi and Fumi Handmade?! It was so totally awesome that it inspired me to make this card below that I am going to share with you guys!

I used Chuckles with Gecko here with a blue, black, and silver color combo. I used a double invisible tape adhesive to cut 2014 through the Cricut and added fine microfiber silver glitter to finish it off.  You can kind of tell it has a little bit of red glow to the numbers because I taped the adhesive to red paper on one side before I cut it.  Had so much fun creating this! The sentiment is from Stampin Up. Hope to see all your creations as well in the current challenge going on ;)

Hugs,
Kathy

Sweetheart's Christmas

Hi There!

Let's just rewind a bit and remember this past Christmas! I made a couple of Christmas cards for sweetheart buddies or family friends of mine. Images are all from the greeting farm.  I will make this short and simple since there is a lot going on as we wrap up the holidays ^.^!

First up is Angel Anya's body altered with Awareness Anya's head and Oliver from the OA-Surprise set.

Second up is Oliver again and WS-Jessica which is a digi image. Just love using Oliver because he is so adorable and versatile with his gift!

Last but not least is Digi WS- Dressy Joyce and the oh so popular Oliver...LOL

Thanks for stopping by and have a good night!

Happy 2014!!

Happy Happy NEW YEAR!!! Omg! I can't believe it's 2014 already!! I am excited to see what lies ahead but also blessed for what happened in 2013 as I look back on nothing but good times and with great company! Wishing all of you a GREAT 2014 with adventure, happiness, and good fortune!!

Just wanted to have a quick share of this calendar box that I was itching to do after seeing Eva's post from ATS! If you are interested she has a great tutorial here. I was too cheap the buy the box die cut so created my own from the tutorial guides...lol The numbers are cut from the Cricut machine and the months are from the mini alpha and numbers die from ATS.  The sentiment is from AMYR and of course Jilly and Emaline's Secret Fairwees from Sweet November! Thanks for stopping by and have a great crafting year ahead!
